It’s not a Gold Watch

This is my last week at work before heading off to seminary, so my office went to Olive Garden for lunch on Monday. My boss picked up the tab and it was a very nice hour and a half out of the office.
I had made a joke a couple of weeks ago that I really liked the little dry-erase white board that’s in my cube, and that maybe it would disappear when I move my stuff out on Friday. So as a going away gift, the office bought me a white board and some dry erase markers! What an excellent gift. It’s not a gold watch, but I’ve only been with the company 5 years, so I think a white board is pretty great!
I’m certainly going to miss working with Venture Technologies.
