Memphis Catholic Schools Receive Positive Mention in NY Times

The New York Times (registration required) has published a piece about the hard financial times that have befallen Catholic schools. In the last 3 paragraphs of the story (second page of the article), as a counter-example, they point out that Catholic schools in Memphis are thriving. With such a positive piece from a hostile source (the MSM is generally not friendly to Catholics), it looks like the Diocese of Memphis is doing something right.

Yes, I find this strange too, because just in the past 10 days or so it NY times had a few nuggetts of insite about WMD’s and how they were looted shortly after we went in to Iraq. Another words saying W was kinda right, I think soething is amist
