Speaking of the Role of Government
By Fr. Dennis | March 18, 2005
My friend Carole, who is doing missionary work in Europe, reports in her blog that the EU’s parliamentary whatever in Brussels is considering legislation that will allow the state to euthenize the old and infirm in what appears to be a measure to ease the financial and other burdens on the young and healthy. It seems that two generations after widespread adoption of contraception, there aren’t enough young people in the work force to take care of the previous generation. This is real womb to tomb culture of death stuff. Don’t tell me there isn’t a connection between contraception and every other kind of evil.
Pray for Europe.

Sadly, they could have had contraception, abortion and euthanasia two generations earlier if they hadn’t been so unkind to the Nazis.
