Not Much, You?
By Fr. Dennis | January 8, 2008
Not much to report. I’ve been away from blogging. Spent my Christmas break at a parish in Memphis. Great people. Got to preach on the 4th Sunday of Advent and on the Solemnity of the Mother of God (January 1). Now I’m back at school. We have our January Term right now, a 3-week mini-semester, where students take only 1 class for 3 hours a day, 4 days a week, for 3 weeks.
The next few weekends are booked solid for me. This Friday, I’ll drive to Springfield, Missouri, for the diaconal ordination of 2 classmates, then to Nashville to baptize my nephew Luke and my niece AnnaClaire. The following weekend, I’ll be in DC for the March for Life through Tuesday the 22nd. I’ll get to visit with a couple of friends from Guatemala (Americans who live in DC now), as well as my friend Dawn Eden. I’ll also be meeting with my dad for mass on Sunday since he’ll be in DC after finishing a soccer coaching conference in Baltimore. The last weekend of the month, I’ll be attending the diaconal ordination of yet another classmate in Tulsa.
I’m sure I’ll get sick of the inside of my car after that drive.

I’m glad to have an update so I don’t have to worry. Although, I did figure you were busy because of your upcoming ordination - as it should be:)
