My Chalice Arrived

The chalice that will be blessed at my ordination, that I will use at my first mass, that I will use throughout my priesthood, that will contain the precious blood of Jesus at every mass I celebrate…
It arrived today. There is a tradition that a priest’s parents obtain a chalice for him. I’m shipping it via UPS to my folks because they want to have the bottom of the base engraved. I guess this makes it real.

what a beautiful vessel. worth the wait…huh? to where is it being sent…? you know the point of this question? to the house or the Cathedral? Your mother is no longer working there!!!
