I Am a Master of Divinity
By Fr. Dennis | May 10, 2008
Or at least that’s what it says on my diploma, which I just received a little over an hour ago. I am now a graduate of Saint Meinrad School of Theology.
Mom and Dad came up from Memphis for the graduation, and they’re going to help me take some stuff home, too. What great parents they are.
It’s kinda sad. I’m very anxious to go home, but I will miss the formation staff here, and my classmates, and the other seminarians.
I’ll write more about this theme of transition, of endings and beginnings, another time. I even have some pictures, which I will try to get to in a few days as well, including one of fellow graduate Susan Isaacs, whom Carole knows.
I’m feeling a little emotional, but I have too much packing to do to get too worked up.
While you’re waiting for me to write more, have a look at the USA’s Ordination Class of 2008. (There’s a photo of me there, too.)
