Happy for you to start off at such a great parish. Sad for me because I wanted you at IC. I will try to make it on Saturday. Thanks again for your service to our Lord and His Church!

Dear Dennis,
So sorry I won’t be there to celebrate with you, but will definitely be thinking of you and present in spirit in a special way. God bless you, and so proud of you.

St. Louis Catholic Church?
Seriously?
That means you have one section of White Station with the Catholics, and I have another section just down the road with the Baptists? (Granted, I’m looking for a full-time gig but that’s my headquarters for now).
I don’t think the city of Memphis is ready for this… someone should tell Dr. Who to be on “standby” or something…
But really, Sincere Congratulations! I was a member at St. Louis for many years (even went to school there as a kid for grades 1-8) and know it to be a fantastic parish with wonderful people.
